Yahoo! Finance: “Brandywine Homes to Hold Grand Openings for Two New Infill Communities in Norwalk on Saturday, May 14”

Brandywine Homes will hold grand opening celebrations on Saturday, May 14, for two new Norwalk neighborhoods: Sunstone, a two-acre, transit-friendly community with 31 townhomes located at 11009 Pioneer Boulevard, and Citrine, a 16-unit townhome community on one acre located at 11433 Excelsior Drive. Grand opening celebrations will be held from 10am to 6 pm at the Sunstone model home complex on Pioneer Blvd.

“Citrine and Sunstone are extremely popular because they offer the only new home ownership opportunities in the Norwalk area,” said Dave Barisic, vice president of sales and marketing at Brandywine Homes, a pioneer of infill development in Southern California. “These communities are filling a deep need. We don’t expect these homes to be on the market for long.”

Citrine and Sunstone are offering townhomes ranging from approximately 1,110 to 1,475 square feet with hand-selected designer finishes as well as versatile, expansive floor plans. Sunstone, a gated community built on the site of a former school building, offers a location adjacent to Little Lake Park and close to Heritage Park and Wilderness Park. Citrine is located to the south of Sunstone and is close to Vista Verde Park, the Norwalk Aquatics Pavillion, and Norwalk High School. Both communities offer two- and three-bedroom stucco townhomes with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tankless water heaters, two-car garages and concrete tile roofs. The homes are priced from the low $400,000s.

With easy access to the 5 and 605 freeways, residents will be able to commute to both Los Angeles and Orange County. The communities are within walking distance of elementary and middle schools, and the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, Cerritos Mall and Knott’s Berry Farm are a short drive away.
