With some of the highest home prices in the county, it’s no surprise that Orange County boasts some of the country’s most stratospheric home sales with over 1,400 homes costing over $2 million dollars sold in 2015 alone. Here are a few of the top transactions in the past eight years, according to the Orange County Register. And don’t worry. You won’t find any of these properties at any of the developments by Brandywine Homes.

6 Coral Ridge, Newport Coast
Selling for $27 million on Sept. 13, 2013 to a Chinese buyer, this 15,700-square-foot mansion was originally owned by Myford Irvine, heir to the Irvine family fortune. Its cul-de-sac lot measures almost three-fourths of an acre and includes a 3,000-square-foot garage. The property includes two stories, a basement, a 1,035-square-foot loggia and a 733-square-foot deck.

411 Avocado Ave., Corona Del Mar
Hale O Pau Hana set a record for the highest price ever paid for an off-water property in the county when it sold for $27 million on April 14, 2008. Guarded by a long private drive, the 1.4-acre estate features 15,000-square-foot of living area on one level that is designed around an open-air pool court with an infinity pool and spa surrounded by palms. High-tech pluses include a 12-seat theater, security systems, a stage with the ability to broadcast in audio and video, and an office with networking, telecommunications and video conferencing. The 5,000 square-foot underground level covers a 16-car garage, workshop, gym, and an elevator.

106 Emerald Bay, Laguna Beach
With a lot over 10,000 square feet and an oceanfront guest house, this 5,900-square-foot residence sold Jun. 22, 2009 for $28 million. The buyer was Frank J. Fertitta III, a principal owner of the Las Vegas Station Casino and Ultimate Fighting Champions. The 5,800-square-foot main residence uses Hamptons-inspired architecture and comes with six bedrooms and seven baths. It is only one of 17 beachfront properties located in exclusive Emerald Bay.

2431 Riviera Drive, Laguna Beach
Located on nearly a half acre with 180 feet of cove frontage in Irvine Cove, Villa Dei Tarmonti stays guarded behind its own gate. It was sold in on Mar. 31, 2005 for $29 million. The Mediterranean Revival home has almost 10,000 square feet of interior space with a 1,000-square-foot great room and three exposures to the sea. Six cars can park in the attached 845-square-foot garage. High-quality materials such as artisanal bronze, finely crafted mill work, and honed limestone floors grace six bedrooms and eight baths.

2495 Riviera Drive, Laguna Beach
Sold on Oct. 25, 2013 for $33 million, this 7,200-square-foot home rises from a one-third acre lot with a private beach. Built in 1963 and sold for $30.1 million in 2007, the property includes five bedrooms and six baths, and is only of the five homes on the sand in 24-hour gate-guarded Irvine Cove. Automatic shades in the living room reveal floor-to-ceiling glass windows with ocean views.

171 Emerald Bay, Laguna Beach
When it was sold on Aug. 29, 2014, this property broke a price barrier that had stood for nine years. This contemporary residence sprawls over 11,000 square feet with five bedroom, seven full baths, five half baths, three living rooms, two gourmet kitchens, a home theater, spa with steam shower, and parking for 12 cars. Outside, you’ll find two dining terraces, an infinity pool, a swim-up bar, and a cabana. Retractable glass walls let the outside environment in.

1101 Marine Drive, Laguna Beach
Topping the charts is Twin Points, a 2.28 acre coastal property featuring 1,400 feet of waterfront and a cove with private access. Built in 1928 and sold on Feb. 1, the Polynesian-themed main home contains just three bedrooms and three full baths inside its 1,800 square feet. Behind the main gates are a motor court, pools, terraces, and a guest house of 500 square feet. The land isn’t part of the sale because it’s leased. Before the sale, only one family owned the property since 1930.
