Brandywine Homes and Integral Communities announce the opening of Riverdale, a gated residential community offering 131 detached single-family homes on Daisy Avenue in Long Beach, Calif., close to Bixby Knolls Shopping District. Prices start in the low $600,000s.
“We can’t wait to show homebuyers these welcoming, contemporary family homes in the underserved South Bay area with easy freeway access and quick commutes to both LA and Orange County,” said Dave Barisic, principal in charge of sales and marketing at Brandywine Homes, a pioneer of infill development in Southern California. “This amenity-rich community offers in-town coastal living at its finest.”
Riverdale offers contemporary floor plans in Spanish, Santa Barbara and Italianate styles with three and four bedrooms ranging from 1,925 to 2,242 square feet. Luxurious home features include gourmet kitchens with stainless appliances, granite countertops, kitchen islands and designer-selected Moen plumbing features. Master suites come with walk-in closets, over-sized soaking tubs separate shower and toilet area. All homes include interior laundry rooms, state-of-the-art wiring systems, and floor upgrades for strength and noise reduction, and energy-efficient products such as motion-sensor lighting in all baths, laundry and garage.
“Depending on the plan, these homes also offer exceptional features such as a covered patio, convenient downstairs bedroom, spacious loft or an available laundry sink,” Barisic said. “There are a myriad of options and upgrades that allow you to personalize your home.”
The community includes a resort -style clubhouse with a meeting room, a pool and spa with cabanas, outdoor dining areas and a tot lot. Situated in the heart of coastal Southern California, Riverdale is perfect for people who commute to Los Angeles or Orange County.
Near the Riverdale project, Brandywine is planning to develop a 3.3-acre city park named after Dr. David Molina of Long Beach-based Molina Healthcare. The C. David Molina Park will be located at 4951 Oregon Avenue and will feature a turf athletic field, playground, restroom facility, walking path, parking and landscaping. The park will have energy-efficient lighting to provide additional hours of play for Long Beach sports groups. The walking path and a series of fitness stations will provide an opportunity for healthy outdoor exercise. The playground will feature dynamic universally accessible play structures, a climbing structure, safety surfacing and colorful shade structures.
Cooled by coastal breezes, Riverdale is conveniently located near the Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, California State University, Long Beach and plenty of shopping and restaurants.
