Morningstar News: “Brandywine Homes to Break Ground on Lakehouse, a 20-Unit Luxury Home Community in Anaheim, Calif.”

Morningstar

ANAHEIM, CA — (Marketwired) — 10/19/15 — Brandywine Homes will break ground in January on Lakehouse, a 20-unit community on 3.6 acres located at 2901 E. South Street in Anaheim, Calif. A grand opening will be held in spring 2016, and is scheduled to be complete in December 2016.

“Lakehouse will be a one-of-a-kind community bordering the Santa Ana River in the heart of Orange County,” said Dave Barisic, vice president of sales and marketing at Brandywine Homes, a pioneer of infill development in Southern California. “With a nature preserve in their backyards, these homes will be designed to complement their surroundings and provide peace and serenity to their owners. It is rare to find new single family homes of this size in an existing established neighborhood close to everything you want.”

Designed by Pate-Smeall Architects, Lakehouse will offer 20 detached single-family homes ranging from 2,200 to 2,750 square feet on lots ranging from 3,650 to 7,662 square feet. With four different architectural styles to choose from — two Craftsman models, Ranch Hacienda and Spanish — the stucco homes will have clay or concrete roofing tiles and two-car garages.

Residents will have access to a pocket park and adjacent walking trails. The community has easy access to the 57 and 91 freeways.

Tierra Development Advisors was the broker for the deal.

According to the National Association of Home Builders’ formula to determine the local impact of single-family housing in typical metro areas, adding 20 single-family homes will generate $5.7 million in local income, $720,000 in taxes and other revenue for local governments and 79 local jobs.
