New Community On Santa Ana River Offers Much-Needed New Housing in the Heart of Orange County
ANAHEIM, Calif. – Brandywine Homes held a wildly successful grand opening celebration last weekend at Lakehouse, a 20-unit community on 3.6 acres located at 2901 E. South Street in Anaheim, Calif., selling four homes in the first week. The neighborhood, which is bringing much-needed new housing to an underserved area, is expected to be complete in December 2016.
“We are very excited about the grand opening of our Lakehouse models especially when interest in this unique community has been off the charts for the past couple of weeks,” said Dave Barisic, vice president of sales and marketing at Brandywine Homes, a pioneer of infill development in Southern California. “Homes in the first release include some of the most desirable lots, which back up to the nature trail and Santa Ana River system. You can even see Anaheim Stadium in the distance.”
Designed by Pate-Smeall Architects, this one-of-a-kind community located in the heart of Orange County offers 20 detached single-family homes ranging from 2,200 to 2,750 square feet on lots ranging from 3,650 to 7,662 square feet. With four architectural styles to choose from—two Craftsman models, Ranch Hacienda and Spanish—the stucco homes will have clay or concrete roofing tiles and two-car garages.
Lakehouse is located along the Santa Ana River, and residents will have access to associated nature trails. The community includes a pocket park and has easy access to the 57 and 91 freeways.
