Southern California Infill Developer Plans to Close at Least 175 Homes in 2019
IRVINE, Calif. – Brandywine Homes, a pioneer of infill development in Southern California, closed 167 homes (an increase of more than 50% compared to its previous year), opened two new communities and broke ground on three new communities in Southern California in 2018. The homebuilder plans to open five new communities throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties in 2019.
“Many things contributed to Brandywine’s record revenues and closings in 2018,” said Dave Barisic, principal in charge of sales and marketing at Brandywine Homes. “Although the market slowed a bit in the 4th quarter, we benefited by having great product in underserved locations, continued low interest rates, and from some key partnerships we hope to continue in the future.”
In 2018, Brandywine opened Newbury, 15 estate homes in Yorba Linda; Corsica, 17 townhomes in Buena Park; and Bradbury, 45 detached homes in La Puente.
Also, in 2018, Brandywine broke ground on Saddle Creek, 28 detached homes in San Dimas; Candlewood Villas, 53 golf course view townhomes in Whittier; Oliva, 25 three-story townhomes in Duarte; Palmera, 23 luxury townhomes in Baldwin Park, and Treviso, 23 luxury townhomes in Anaheim.
Brandywine’s 2018 sold-out projects are as follows: Corsica, 17 townhomes in Buena Park, Castella, 21 luxury townhomes in Norwalk; and Riverdale, 131 detached homes in Long Beach.
